There’s a new brand in town, make way for Delilah cosmetics. I usually wait until the buzz of a new line is over but this one had me intrigued. It’s been set up from a partnership between a makeup artist, beauty buyer and a photographer. So I had a sneaky suspicion this was going to be good.
The idea behind the range is to offer a bit of luxury that can be used everyday. With most of the products hitting between £20 and £50, I was hoping for big things to justify spending that little bit extra. The two products I managed to get my hands on were the sunset bronzer and one of the blushers. The first thing that caught my eye was the packaging. Both products come in a beautiful aluminium case, with a little rose gold ring around the middle and a velvet pouch to keep them safe.
The sunset bronzer is totally matte which is what I’m looking for to take me into the fall, and will suit those of you who don’t like glitter in bronzers. I was so impressed by the pigmentation, if you use a small contour brush you can get some really good definition. I’m really no good at contouring properly at the moment but this really helped get the look I was after! There are two shades to choose from too. I quite like the idea it’s packed with vitamin E and jojoba oil, although it didn’t feel much different when I put it on, just very soft! At £34 it’s not cheap, but this will last me years and I think it’s safe to say it’s definitely one of the best bronzers I now own.
The lulluby blusher is similar in pigmentation and gives a really nice glow. There are 3 colours to choose from, I’m hoping they bring out some slightly more neutral ones as this was a little too bright for me, but if you’re used to wearing more colour then you will love it.
So, as I thought, it didn’t fail to impress. I’m really excited to try some of the base products (concealer, foundation and powder). The choice of products in this section looks really good so I’ll be keeping a lookout for those! Have you tried any of the products? Love Becky x
