Sometimes I get to 9pm and wonder where the day has gone, I collapse in bed and forget about taking any time for me. As the nights are getting darker and the days are getting colder it’s made me think about all the things I can do to feel as cosy and relaxed as I can. So I wanted to write a bit of a TLC guide to tell you about all the things I love to do to feel pampered and ready for the Autumn!
I get quite anxious and stressed and i’m always looking for things that force me to slow down and relax. So a few weeks ago I set myself the challenge of learning how to knit! I love snuggly hats in the cold so I knitted this one and have been wearing it almost every day. It was so therapeutic learning how to do this and it feels so good to know I made it!

I’m all about the indulgence and sweet treats so I was really excited to try Palmolive’s new Gourmet Body Butter Shower Cream as a new addition to my Autumn pamper routine. Food and drink is a big part of my life and I take a little more time as it gets colder to make a few treats. In the morning I love this gluten free porridge with honey and nuts or my homemade granola which you can watch how to make in my ‘What I Eat In A Day’ video. My absolute favourite thing when I’m having a ‘me moment’ is hot chocolate in front of the fire. When I really want to pamper myself I go all out and add cream, marshmallows and a flake. It’s so comforting at this time of the year. I got this recipe from DrinksTube where I make tea videos which is a really good go-to for Autumn drinks!
Finally, I get so much of the feel-good factor from shopping and I love this time of year for that! I did a snuggly clothing haul recently and picked up a few scarfs, gloves, hats and boots. This has to be one of my favourite times of the year for spoiling myself shopping and I love the colours for Autumn as well as all the gorgeous knits and fabrics.
So in between all the hustle and bustle, try to take a little bit of time out to relax. It makes such a difference to my mood and it doesn’t have to cost a lot of money. What are your favourite things to do to relax and pamper yourself at this time of the year? Becky x
